Sidereel being abused – Users Unite!
(I realize this is not where you intended to go, but please read and save others.)
Fellow abused friends,
Please take two minutes out of your busy schedule to read this:
How many times a day must you click a link that does not take you where you want to go?
I for one, am sick of it.
I have done my share of recording, and posting, I won’t be specific of course, because that would be just plain stupid, but I will say, you’ve probably enjoyed some of my efforts.
Lately, there has been an explosion of people/machinery abusing many of the places I go to relax and spend a couple hours of my precious free time(most of us don’t get much).
Do we really need to see the same pop ups 40 times before we can find a solid source for the link we’re actually looking for?
I’m sick of these people taking my time, and others time, for their own benefit.
To all users who have been abused, here’s what you can do to help:
- When you see a link to a pop up/spam site – or a false link in general, CHANGE IT.
- If you don’t have the time to change it, DELETE IT.
- If these options aren’t available – BOYCOTT THE SITE.
- Tell others to get involved, spread the good word and we can overcome this.
If you have actually read this, I really thank you for your time, seriously.
The way Karma works, if you delete/fix a link, others will also, and soon, we will all save each others time, which leaves us all more time to do this things we had intended to.
