These methods are not very good, people. I mean no offense by that. I'm simply saying that you can do better. As thieves we must always remain one step ahead in technology and methods. If you don't you WILL get caught. There are those who steal for fun, and there are those who steal for a living and don't have day jobs. The real professionals can get caught, sure. But it's rare. And the profit that we have made FAR outweighs the fines and lawyer fees. I was caught once, given a slap on the wrist fine. The whole ordeal cost me about $2700 bucks. But the people who caught me paid for all of it and more. If the security guys use walkie talkies, then you should have a handheld radio scanner under your jacket with an earpiece in your ear which can be mistaken for a cell phone headset. Pretend to talk on it while you're in there, it works. You will know if they are on to you before they make their move. If they have cameras, get your hands on a high powered laser pointer. It will cost you $400-$500, but pay for itself in one hour of use. Have a friend blind the camera with it. Regular laser pointers DON"T WORK btw. Learn to pick locks proficiently and carry a small pick set at all times. Practice every day. It will pay off in the end. Dress the part. Look like you have just slightly more money than most of the folks who shop at that store and your career will be easier. And rule number 1: Don't EVER FOR ANY REASON take anything out the front doors on your person. There are smarter ways of stealing than shoving things down your pants or hiding expensive stuff tapped up in a bag of chips. THINK! They expect people to shove things down their pants. So do the opposite. Make it like a magic trick and leave them wondering how you're doing it. The methods you use have to be so smooth and so difficult to detect and get evidence of, that even if they know you are stealing, they can't prove it. I can't tell you what my methods are exactly, but I have left you clues and told you what equipment you need. You see my partner and I are still in business, and have been for almost 11 years now. And we promised each other never to reveal the unique methods which we invented from scratch by trial and error. Just THINK. Do critical thinking. Never do anything that they would expect you to do. Remember these words. ANY methods which you read on the internet or watched a video of is TOTALLY UNSAFE TO DO. If you're reading it, it means that they know about it. Which means that they are ready for it. You can't read how to do this online from someone. It's hard work and experimentation that gets it done. My partner and I figure that we have spent 5 times as much time planning, inventing strategies, and talking about what we can improve on and what we did wrong in previous occasions than we spent actually getting stuff. When we are old and can't do it anymore decades from now, we plan on writing a book though all about how it was done but most importantly WHY. I would not steal so much as a pack of gum from a mom and pop drug store. But we have made a living off of certain companies, and for good reason. But to make money you have to spend it. Invest in the proper tools to get the job done and use your head. You'll be alright.

"Ya’ll just dont seem to get it, I work at my local store, and believe me, we have alot more cognizant people than you think, for one I am known for getting up behind people and them not even knowing I am there, I watch like a hawk. An example is on the GM door, I have a clear line of sight all the way to the grocery area near the door, all the way back to electronics, and all the registers on the GM side, so its hard even on a busy day to try to get something past."

damn, you're badass.

1. The keys that the electronics department at Walmart uses are the same keys that every other electronics department uses. If you manage to get ahold of them at one store, you can use them at another. The locks may be placed differently and the cases that hold iPods and laptops may have extra locks or spider-wire on them.
2. The easiest time to steal isn't necessarily the busiest...it is at shift changes (around 7 am and 11pm). Everyone is more concerned about going home and are less likely to see you.
3. APA...is a joke. In most stores, they are not on the clock until the afternoon. For some dumb ass reason, there is an assumption that all of the theft happens at night and late afternoon. And like other posters have stated...look for someone wearing a bluetooth device. Also know that they cannot physically stop you...it is against Walmart policy
4. If the Walmart you are stealing from has a fabric department, you can usually steal there because the cameras are off. But your best bet will always be the restrooms.
5. If customer service won't return something you stole because you don't have a receipt...ask to speak with a manager and act butthurt. The manager will override the CSA's refusal because Walmart (for some dumb reason) would rather lose money than lose potential customers.
6. Wearing a blue shirt and khakis makes you less of a target when stealing. If you can make it into the personnel department, they leave out blank badges and sticky letters...usually in a black container. You can get into the personnel department anytime before 9am and after 5 or 6 PM undetected and the doors are not locked. Just make sure to wear the Wally World monkey suit.
7. Some employees actually care about theft. They are rare but they do exist. Thinking that you have to just outwit Loss Prevention and a door greeter is not thinking at all. Sometimes you have employees who watch customers. Keep that in mind.
8. More to come soon...

Alright this is probably a stupid question, but here goes...What stops someone from parking around the block, walking in, taking something, walk casually towards the exit, and when the alarms go off just sprint off. Right through the doors and to your parked car that the cameras can't see. Wouldn't that be easier than taking tags off?
